Ballet Magnificat! was founded over thirty years ago by IBC Silver Medalist Kathy Thibodeux, who had a vision to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through powerful and original repertoire. The Company Artists are renowned for their sublime beauty and unparalleled artistry, commanding stages in theaters, opera houses, concert halls, performing arts centers, church auditoriums, and civic arenas. Ballet Magnificat! has become a potent force that touches the hearts of audiences, inspiring genuine conviction in those who witness their performances.
Synopsis
Stratagem: a plan or scheme, especially one used to outwit an opponent or achieve an end.
Inspired by C.S. Lewis' highly acclaimed "Screwtape Letters", Stratagem is an engaging ballet that masterfully reveals the spiritual battle being waged by Satan and his demonic forces. With opposing angelic forces, complex human characters, and a set of quirky, precocious demons, audience members are invited to partake in a playful yet sobering story of temptation and redemption.
